Tis the Season

You can feel the excitement building around the holiday season. Many decorations are being put up to celebrate the holidays. You may have even decked the halls of your home but be sure to obey the community rules about outside decorations as given the the Resident Handbook.


Everyone should have been given a copy of the Handbook before moving into the Villas at Riverbend. You agreed to follow the rules as a condition of joining the community.


Below is a portion of some of the pertinent rules.


XVI. General Policies on Holiday Decorations (Page 18)


A. Decorations placed on the ground must be inside the Limited Common Area.


B. Decorations placed in the Common Area must be pre-approved by the Board

through the Variance Request process ...



XXII Patio and Fence Responsibility (page 20)


A. Nothing can be secured to, hung onto, or placed over the fence. This includes

holiday decorations, flags, or plants. …



There is an enforcement procedure and penalties for non compliance.
