Vendor Recommendations

I have lived in my Villas of Riverbends condo 9 years and during this time period I have had my dryer duct work cleaned at least 3 times and maybe 4. (memory issue). Here are the facts dealing with these cleanings:

a. I will loop the first 2/3 cleanings as they were similar. Cleanings 1 & 2 were from the roof and nothing from the laundry room. Cleaning 3 was by a nation wide cleaning company and they cleaned from the laundry room, nothing from the roof. All three of these cleanings cost about the same, about $100.

b. This month Marilyn Droll set me up with an appointment with USA Dryer Vent. Wow, what a difference and the cost was about the same as the first 2/3. The serviceman first cleaned at the laundry floor level and it was amazing how much lint he removed. He had already discovered that the vent may be clogged as he could see possible moisture in the vent piping connection.

Because of snow on the roof he said he would come back and clean the roof. Today he did that and then measured the air flow in the duct work and reported that the air flow was like new.

I would like to recommend USA Dryer Vent for the above reasons that: cleaning from the roof and laundry room (using a poker to remove lint) and AFTER cleaning the roof vent he did a measure of the air flow.
